In an increasingly crowded category, Wüsthof needed ads that conveyed their superior design and German heritage. So, we placed umlauts over the one-word headlines because 1) they’re in the brand’s name, 2) few things say “German” more than umlauts and 3) it was a clean and graphic way to show how even basic prepping tasks done with these fine knives can seem uniquely “Wüsthof.” To show this incredible cutting ability, we showcased amazing (and beautiful) examples of food that was prepped with various Wüsthof knives.
